Built from the inside

We couldn't find the AI platform our teams needed. So we built it.

The NuBench team has worked inside the organizations that need this most — at global consulting firms, investment banks, insurance carriers, private equity firms, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, and payment processors. We have been the people trying to say yes to AI when the compliance team needs to say no.

Every AI platform we tried was built for an individual in a text box. There was no collaboration that a compliance team could actually approve. No cost attribution by matter or client. No architecture that a CISO at a regulated firm could sign off on. No governance for agents that would behave by the same rules as people. The tools existed. The governance layer did not.

The name

In consulting, the bench is the talent waiting to deploy — the expertise that is available but not yet on a client engagement. NuBench puts AI on your bench: a governed, ready workforce of AI capability that deploys alongside your people, subject to the same policies, accountable to the same cost codes, auditable under the same trail.

Not a replacement for your team. An extension of it.

What we believe

Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling

Most AI platforms treat compliance as a feature tier — an upsell that bigger customers get. We inverted the premise. The governed pipeline, the immutable audit trail, the dedicated isolated environment — these are the foundation everything else is built on. Compliance doesn't cap what your team can do; it's what makes it safe to do anything at all.

Your data relationship should be yours

NuBench AI is BYO-first: your workspace runs on dedicated infrastructure built exclusively for your organization and calls models through your own provider relationship — Amazon Bedrock, or the OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI contract you already negotiated. Customer data is not used to train models.

For the teams that deliver, not just the individuals

Professional work is collaborative. A matter team is five people who need shared context, shared evidence, and shared accountability — not five people in five separate AI chat windows that nobody can reconcile or audit. NuBench is built for the engagement team, not the individual seat.

Evidence beats assertion

Every claim on this site traces to the platform's architecture and its infrastructure code. Where a capability is still being built, we label it. Your security team is welcome to verify — that is the point of building this way.

The problem we couldn't solve elsewhere

No collaboration

Standard enterprise AI subscriptions are single-player. One person, one conversation. Professional work is collaborative — a matter team needs shared context, shared AI output, and a single auditable record for what the AI contributed.

No cost attribution

None of the major platforms can tell you what a matter or client engagement spent on AI, let alone write it to a cost code for chargeback. Token costs appear in a vendor invoice. That is not attribution — that is a number without a name.

No governance for agents

Agents running outside the policy boundary are shadow IT. NuBench deploys agent fleets into the organizational hierarchy — same classification, same budget limits, same audit trail. The same rules apply to the agent as to the person.

“Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling.”

The principle behind every architectural decision we have made. Governance doesn’t limit what your people can do with AI — it’s what makes it safe to do more.
