PWA Feature

Push Notifications on iOS and Android

Get real-time alerts from NuBench AI directly on your phone — no native app required. Works on iOS Safari 16.4+, Android Chrome, Firefox, and all modern desktop browsers.

How It Works

1

Add to Home Screen

Install NuBench AI as a Progressive Web App (PWA) by adding it to your device home screen from your browser.

2

Enable Notifications

Go to Settings → Push Notifications and toggle notifications on. Your browser will ask for permission.

3

Stay Informed

Receive instant alerts for mentions, task completions, budget warnings, and more — even when the app is closed.

Platform Setup Guide

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

  1. Open nubench.ai in Safari (iOS 16.4 or later required)
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen
  3. Select Add to Home Screen
  4. Open the NuBench AI icon from your home screen
  5. Go to Settings → Push Notifications and enable them

Push notifications on iOS require the app to be installed via Add to Home Screen. Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not support Web Push — use Safari.

Android

  1. Open nubench.ai in Chrome or Firefox
  2. Tap the browser menu (⋮) and select Add to Home Screen or Install App
  3. Open the installed NuBench AI app
  4. Go to Settings → Push Notifications and enable them

Android supports Web Push in Chrome (v42+), Firefox (v44+), Edge, and Samsung Internet.

Desktop

All modern desktop browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari 16+) support Web Push. No installation required — simply enable push notifications from Settings → Push Notifications.

What triggers a push notification?

  • Mentions in collaborative sessions
  • Agent task completions
  • Budget threshold warnings (75%, 90%)
  • Trial expiration reminders
  • Knowledge base import complete
  • Shared conversation replies
  • System status and maintenance alerts
  • SCIM provisioning events (admins)

Privacy and Security

NuBench AI uses the W3C Web Push Protocol (RFC 8030) with VAPID authentication (RFC 8292). Push subscription endpoints are stored encrypted and scoped to your organisation. You can revoke push access at any time from Settings or by clearing your browser data. NuBench does not share push tokens with third parties.
