Changelog — Wave 2

What's new in NuBench AI

Wave 2 extends the platform across collaborative governance, notification infrastructure, conversation intelligence, developer integration, and organisational controls. Every feature ships inside the same sixteen-step governance pipeline — no side doors.

Governance & Compliance

  • Enterprise

    Classification Clearance for Collaborative Sessions

Every participant in a PHI-classified live session now undergoes an independent access check at join time. Inheriting the session owner's classification is no longer sufficient — each user must hold PHI access rights at their own hierarchy node.

    Available now

  • Admin

    MFA Enforcement Cutover

Sadmin console controls a phased MFA enforcement timeline with a configurable grace period. Organisations can graduate from advisory to hard-block over days rather than hours, with per-tenant override windows.

    Available now

  • Enterprise

    SCIM 2.0 Provisioning

Connect your enterprise identity provider directly to NuBench AI for automated user lifecycle management — create, update, and deprovision accounts in sync with your IdP, no manual admin required.

    Available now

Notifications

  • All plans

    Push Notifications

Native web push, Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android. Users receive alerts for mentions, session invitations, budget warnings, and admin actions without keeping a browser tab open.

    Available now

  • All plans

    Email Notification Preferences

Per-category opt-in and opt-out for every notification type: conversation activity, budget alerts, compliance events, admin actions, and system announcements. Preferences are scoped to the individual — organisation defaults apply until overridden.

    Available now

Conversation Intelligence

  • All plans

    Conversation Branching UI

Fork any message node into a parallel branch that inherits full context up to the fork point. A collapsible sidebar tracks all open and archived branches. Branches can be merged back to the parent as a message node, or discarded and retained for 30 days.

    Available now

  • Business

    Knowledge Base Citations

When a response draws from an attached knowledge base, inline citation markers link to source document popovers — title, hierarchy node, classification tier, and excerpt. Citations are governed by the Knowledge Down visibility rules of the requesting user.

    Available now

  • All plans

    Conversation Continuation Mode

At a configurable context utilisation threshold (default 75%), NuBench AI generates a summary using the cheapest classification-eligible model and chains a new conversation. Three modes: off, summarise-and-confirm, or fully automatic. A five-minute undo window applies in auto mode.

    Available now

Developer & Integration

  • Business

    Embedded API

A general-purpose API key system for integrating NuBench AI into your own applications. Each key carries a classification ceiling, per-minute rate limit, and optional webhook delivery. Keys are scoped to a hierarchy node and cost code.

    Available now

  • Business

    Native Productivity Connectors

First-party connectors for Google Workspace, Atlassian, Microsoft 365, Slack, GitHub, and Bitbucket. Each connector surfaces documents and context directly into knowledge bases and conversation threads, with per-connector classification assignment.

    Available now

  • Enterprise

    Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Users can attach approved MCP servers to their workspace for external tool integration. Admins configure an allow-list of permitted MCP endpoints at the tenant or hierarchy-node level. All MCP tool calls are routed through the governance pipeline.

    Available now

  • Enterprise

    NuBench Dev Browser Workspace

A browser-based IDE powered by code-server on ECS Fargate — no local install required. Each session runs in a dedicated container with EFS-backed workspace state. PHI-classified workspaces enforce restricted egress. A live cost counter in the status bar tracks token spend per session.

    Available now

Organizational Hierarchy

  • Enterprise

    Fleet Governance

Agent Fleets now enforce hierarchy-scoped budget caps in Redis with the same fail-closed path used for human users. Fleet classification is immutable after activation; changing it requires retire-and-recreate. Policy violations publish GRC events to your configured destinations.

    Available now

  • Admin

    Hierarchy Reparent Confirmation

Dragging an org node now surfaces a confirmation modal that shows the Knowledge Down impact (which KBs are gained or lost) and the Costs Up impact (how budget rollup changes) before the action is committed. The modal requires explicit checkbox acknowledgment and cannot be dismissed by clicking outside.

    Available now

Admin & Billing

  • Admin

    Document Template Library

Admins can create, tag, and publish prompt templates to their organisation or specific hierarchy nodes. Templates appear in the conversation composer and can be restricted by classification tier, ensuring that PHI-oriented templates are only surfaced where PHI access is held.

    Available now

  • All plans

    Projects / Workspaces

A project list and detail view provides ChatGPT-parity project organisation. Each project carries its own classification, cost code, knowledge base attachments, and model preferences. Conversations inside a project inherit project settings by default.

    Available now

  • Business

    Agent Runs Console

Launch, monitor, and browse the full history of agent runs from a dedicated console. Each run shows the task graph, model calls, tool invocations, token spend, classification tier, and any policy refusals — all linked to the audit trail.
